The solar reflective properties of Retroflect have been proven to provide significant
Energy Savings by reducing surface temperature and therefore thermal induction
into the structure . These savings can be seen to be particularly beneficial when
Retroflect is applied to surfaces around air conditioning intake units.
In the interests of energy saving and the environment more and more cities are
in the process of prohibiting the installation of new central air conditioning
systems .This requires innovative new building design and Retroflect can clearly
provide part of the solution.
The "Case History" in this section demonstrates the benefits of Retroflect
on a domestic residence in California. This research was carried out in 1981 and
shows that W.H Screeton were ahead of the times in this area; since then we have
had proven success in other areas and as the worlds attention turns more and more
to environmentally friendly ways of saving energy Retroflect offers an economic
